Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
I have been a USAA member for almost 12 years. I was involved in an accident in 2006 which totaled my car and USAA was absolutley the best. They took care of everything and I ended up not having to do more than just a couple of quick phone calls to tell them the story of the accident. I give the highest regards to their customer service as well as their rates.

Review 2 of 215

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
PURE TRASH! Never heard of USAA insurance until one their policy holder hit me. I hope and pray I don't ever have to deal with USAA insurance ever in my life. They are very rude and obnoxious over the phone. As for those reviews about how good USAA is, hope you don't get hit by USAA policy holder. They will frustrate you.

Strengths:
NONE

Weaknesses:
EVERY THING! Little advice, teach your employee proper customer service.

Review 3 of 215

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
I was chased down and rearended by one of USAA's drivers and now they refuse to pay saying it is my fault when I have a police report saying it was hers. They do now answer their phone calls during "office hours" and do not even return calls. They send you from one person to another. If anyone is hit by a USAA insured driver I would advise you to get a lawyer immediately. A bunch of thieves. If i could give a 0 or negative stars i would.

Strengths:
If only there were any.

Weaknesses:
Everything from accusing victims of wrong doing to not answering phone calls or returning them.

Review 4 of 215

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
I have been with USAA for 7 years now. I can't say enough for this recipricol company. Especially right now with everything going on in the economy. While other companies are folding, USAA stands strong. They even delivered on their yearly distribution in December for their policy holders. Instead of giving back to shareholders, we recieved money back!! What company could do that in these turbulant times!! These folks stand on their promises, and are so passionate about who they serve. THE MILITARY COMMUNITY! I love everything about them. I have my auto insurance, auto loan, homeowners insurance, checking/savings, credit card, life insurance, and money market accounts! ALL UNDER ONE ROOF! and I TRUST all of it with them. I never have to worry that they may not be there tomorrow.

If you are military, they specialize in making the smooth transition during a PCS move. Changing addresses, polices, ect. WHAT OTHER COMPANY KNOWS WHAT PCS MEANS ANYWAYS!! When you deploy, they have a special deployment team that makes sure everything is in order with all of your accounts there. They even lower your interest rate on your credit card!! WHAT OTHER COMPANY DOES THAT, WHILE YOU ARE OVER SEAS AT WAR!!

THESE ARE JUST A FEW THINGS THIS AWESOME COMPANY DOES.

Strengths:
-A. M. Best Company: A++ (Superior)[26]
-Moody's Investor Service: AAA (Exceptional)
-Standard and Poor's: AAA (Extremely Strong)
-Consistantly maintains top ratings with JD Power
-Customer Service Champs 2 years in a row by Business week!!
-Specialize in serving military community
-in business for apprx 81yrs!!!

AND THOSE ARE ONLY A FEW!!!

Weaknesses:
NONE!

Review 5 of 215

Price Paid:  $0.00 from 0

Year / Model Reviewed:
2007 Dodge Charger

Summary:
USAA is very helpful when they are trying to market more of their products to you.... Let's say if you call to check on your banking they will refer you to insurance... etc... kind of like do you want fries with that. They seem really nice like they are there for you, until you have to make a claim.

Strengths:
none..cheap rates... but hence you get what you pay for..... no help when you need to make a claim

Weaknesses:
Rude, accusatory, claims adjusters...If you make a claim... you better be ready FOR A FIGHT.. because they will fight tooth and nail to pay what is reasonably expected.
