$109000.00 Year / Model Reviewed: 2010 Roadster 2dr Convertible Strengths: Acceleration (0-60 in 3.9 sec.) Efficiency at 85% Regenerative braking. Rather than turning momentum into thermal energy, the Tesla gives you that energy back. Zero pollutants at the car and, at worst case, only 1/3 the pollutants when compared to a similar gas powered car. Weaknesses: The radio is needlessly complicated. The seats don't have enough lateral support in high G corners. Summary: The Tesla Roadster is great fun to drive. It has amazing acceleration and efficiency. Sitting at a stop light, the car uses 1 amp of electricity while everyone else is idling. To stop, the regenerative braking kicks in to recharge the batteries. This car causes a complete paradigm shift in the automotive industry.
