Performance, missing some options and Price

I had a 2010 Cadillac SRX, but returned it and got this one. I have to say it was a not a great move, but definitely a very good one. I have a lead foot and I'm still able to get between 26 to 28 MPG combined (something I have NEVER been able to do before). It's a Lexus, so the quietness is expected and is given. Again, it being a Lexus comfort rivals a suite in a Four Season Hotel. In terms of reliability, Lexus has set the bench on this. The other car manufacturers are still trying to catch up.

One of the main reason why people buy Lexus is the service that you receive from the dealership. It's been over a month since I got my RX and the dealership is still bending over backwards to see if I'm satisfied with my purchase (I'm willing to bet you won't get that kind of service anywhere else. I know. I bought and had a Porsche, Cadillac, Lincoln, Audi, Toyota, Honda, Acura, Mercedes, and Ferrari (which, by the way, has the worst service but hey it's a Ferrari).

The Remote Touch is a stroke of genius. I have a feeling the other car manufacturers will follow suit soon.

In terms of performance, it lacks the punch you will get from a non-hybrid vehicle. Don't get me wrong, if you push it it will go. Of course, if you're purchasing this vehicle you're not getting it for the performance; however, I wish it was there. Just like the new Active Hybrid from BMW (although, if you're willing to spend $90K on a car, I'm sure you have the $$$ for gas and now it's just more of a status symbol)).

One of the irritating things is that Lexus of America doesn't offer some options on the RX that other RX in other countries offer. For example, you are able to rip music on the HD of the car. That's not even offered for RXs here in the US and can not even order it.

Lastly, is the price. It's not cheap. Now, I do a LOT of driving meaning by the time I finish with this car I would have made of the difference between getting a hybrid and non-hybrid. Overall, it's a very good car and if anyone that has the means to shell out a little more to get it, you should.
