Strength:

Great power, smooth ride, beautiful interior

Weakness:

only made it 130,000 miles before major problems occurred

When I first got the car, although used it looked and felt brand new. Everything was operational and I fell in love with the car. But soon afterwards I began having problems - steering controls for radio, cruise, airbag quit working - was not blown fuse, never found problem. The heat plate rattled. The rear air quit blowing, plastic on back of seats kept popping off. Then I started having one problem after another with the motor - wouldn't idle, heat quit working, overflow reservoir busted. Parts and labor started racking up!

All around great car!!

Weakness:

none seen so far

I paid $11K for a 4 year old - 36K original Km LS V6, added another $4.5 K in engine mods(including turbo & dry nitrous), extreme handling suspension, 18" X 9.5" billet wheels and BFG Z rated tires.

It now outperforms the best sedans and coupes from Germany, Japan, and North America and still gets great gas mileage. All for under $15K.

P.S. Best E.T. to date 11.50 @ 108.26 mph in 90 degree weather with the AC& CD on and my wife driving.

No skid pad data yet, but planned for 2010

And not to mention the costly repairs! If I had known then like I know now I would have just gotten a regular old car that was low on maintence!

3.9 Power! handling, smooth ride, design, and comfortable

Weakness:

EXPENSIVE @$$ PARTS!!! compact workspace under the hood, self mechanics know i mean.

i bought it used with 100,000 miles on it. the people who owned it never took care of it and ragged it out. i have spent a little over 1,000 so far. The only things left to do is ball joints, tie rod ends, and some normal mainetance.but with that comes with how expensive the parts are and that you can only get them from a dealership. new suspension parts from and rear is round 5,000 bucks. normal parts for other cars arent made the same and because of the better parts for the car makes it the ride it is.

seen or worked on em all but lincoln's luxury line is the same as gm's cadillac, fancy features and nice rides; depends on the buyer whether they're willing for the cost of the upkeep and repairs.

Looks good at night, that's about it. Oh, it has a nice sound system.

Weakness:

Everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this car in September and was immediately bombarded with problems. The right front wheel barring, leaks, catalytic converter, and now as hot as it is in Dallas-- the ac blows HOT!!!!!! I hate that I bought this lemon and of course what needs to be fixed isn't covered by the warranty!!!! The dealership "helped" me by giving the parts at cost and offering me $100 for every customer that I refer to them---are you f&*^%$# nuts, I wouldn't recommend you to my worst enemy!!I've only put 8k miles on this hoopty. I was told not to buy an American sedan and wish I had not.

Have replaced:
Cooling Fan
Entire AC System
door locks
brakes
engine coils
Vaccuum exhaust
... plenty of others

I had this car about 2 months before I started having problems. If I would have took the money I paid for it plus the money I've spent repairing it I would have been able to buy a new one. I got a wrnty with the car but it sucked! Didn't want to cover any repair cost.
I wish I would not have bought it. I will never buy another american made car.

The dealer service has been great.

Weakness:

The car has had so many problems from ABS issues to Stalling issues and nearly everything in between. The delaer did resolve all of the issues but a car of this age should not have this many problems. I am glad I only paid the $24000 as resale stinks

I purcased this car based on price brand new it was $24,000( It was $8,000 off the sticker) I thought it was a bargain After 4 Years I no longer consider it a bargain
