Strength:

Quiet and Smooth Ride with the THX stereo cranked makes for an unbelievably comfortable ride. Side Radar and Back up Camera - don't know how I lived without. Cooled seats great. NAV with Sync is also first rate - although takes a while to program everything the way you want it. Never have to carry CD around again - holds over 100 in memory.

Weakness:

Nothing

I had a 2007 MKZ coming off lease so I drove a bunch of cars before making this choice. CTS, G37, VWCC, LaCrosse, were all nice in their way - but the 2010 MKZ (much improved from the 2007) was by the far the most car for the money. Had the vechile 3 months and no problems. Friend bought the CTS and kicks himself everytime he is my car, he has NAV envy. Plus it is a lot quieter and smoother on the road. I tell him the CTS would be better at driving in the mountains at 30 mph over the speed limit but who does that anyway when you ar over 30. Ford's quality is first rate - never took my first MKZ or this car in for any unscheduled maintenance

Interior parts

Well I'm following up from my previous post with an update. Apparently, FORD/LINCOLN still can't compete with LEXUS like I thought they could. As is typical for American auto makers, the heating element in the passenger's front seat for your rear-end quit working and no longer heats. Likewise, the rear door handles on the interior of the car, one broke, and the other one is going to break. When will these MORONS learn that interior creaks and knobs that break continue to tick-off the American buyer. I will not be buying another LINCOLN because of these problems that shouldn't ever occur.

Strength:

Everything about this car is quality! The strenghts would be to numerous to mention. Oh, yeah, by the way I am not a FORD employee, so don't think that this review is biased. I am a dentist, and I have owned enough cars GM's, Nissan's, Dodge's, and Ford's to know that this car is well made!

Weakness:

None, except that I could wish for this care to get more than 30 MPG on the highway, and 24 in the city, but then again, this is a 6-cylinder, so the gas mileage is pretty good for that size engine.

Excellent, Fantastic Car! The ride is amazing if not unbelievable! Smooth, Quiet, Plenty of pep when needed. I highly recommend the Lincoln Zephyr to anyone thinking about buying this car. I Googled "Problems with Lincoln Zephyrs", looking for any problems that I could find out about 2006 Lincoln Zephyr. I bought the car in 2009, so I felt certain that after 3 years the internet would have plenty to say about any problems with this make and model. Guess what? You won't find any problems about this car, because there aren't any! Congratulations FORD! You have finally figured it out! Say goodbye to the old "Ford Pinto" quality that FORD use to build, and say hello to a car that is in my estimation the American equivalent to a Lexus! This car came fully loaded; sunroof, 11 speaker sound system, heated or cooled front bucket seats, GPS Navigation system that is phenomenal! Beautiful leather interior, and extremely comfortable! Memory front bucket seats, remote control, and during the hot summer months, when you press and hold down the unlock key on the remote, it opens the sunroof and both front windows go down to cool the car before you get in. Then you crank the car and press the cool buttons for both front seats and the seats cool down for you. If you haven't test driven the Lincoln Zephyr, PLEASE do so before buying any other car. The car came with 28,000 miles on it, and it has a 50,000 mile warranty! I have done other reviews on this website about other cars that I have owned totally criticizing the manufacturer, so don't think I don't know how to tear into these auto makers. I do! That is why I am writing sooooo much about FORD/LINCOLN getting it right this time. Again, Congratulations FORD!!

A friend of mine bought a new 2009 Toyota Camry, paid $10,000 dollars more and then when he saw my car with all of it's options and went for a ride, he was kicking himself in the rear-end for buying the 2009 Camry that came with no options! He told me that he wished he had bought the Lincoln instead of the Camry!

Strength:

Sound System, AWD, Nice Interior, Runs on regular fuel, Good Looks

Weakness:

My wife wanting to drive it.

I bought my MKZ new. I had to order this car because of the color and interior trim that I wanted. It is a blue ink exterior with a sand color interior. I also ordered the THX sound system, chrome wheels, sunroof, HID Headlights and AWD.

I have owned this car for 11 months. There have been no issues and I would hope not with a car that's less than one year old. But, it did fail to start at about 6 months old. The dealer said it was my battery and replaced it at no cost. The cars' stereo system is its' strong point. I have owned many cars and none of the sound systems compare to this one. If your thinking of getting a Lincoln, make sure it has the THX sound system. The car is decent on fuel economy. I get close to 25 mpg on the highway. Not bad for AWD. Plus the AWD is proving its self lately. I have been putting it to the test due to the snow we have been getting here in the Norteast. It's very hilly in Pittsburgh and I have not been stuck yet.
The interior is very nice and well equipped. Heated and cooled seats come standard and both settings work perfectly. The HID headlights were worth getting, especially when driving in the rain at night. This is a nice car and gets compliments often, especially after I've cleaned it.
