Review 1 of 159

Price Paid:  $13000.00 from Fresno, CA

Year / Model Reviewed:
2000 acura integra type r

Summary:
the car is a great product of honda motors. In a quater mile i ran 14.3 at 101 mph. I have the facts to back it up on you tube. It is one of a kind car that turn heads and always people asking if its real. compare to newer technology with rsx and si I've done pretty good in a straight line and corners. From the launch and top end they have to give it up to a type r. Its one of the best car you can get for 15,000 and do some major damange in the import and domestic scene. Nothing against anyones opinions.

Strengths:
the cars handle great for stock out of the factory and it is a street machine.

Weaknesses:
smoging and expensive modification and lack of resources

Price Paid:  $18000.00 from Findlay Suburu Deale

Year / Model Reviewed:
2000 Acura Integra Type R

Summary:
Well first off I hear a lot of talk about sports compacts VS. muscle cars. Come on they are two different classes. I bought this Type R mainly for the fact that you never see them. Be honest outside of a magazine or car show how many do you see cruising? They pack 195 horses into a naturally aspirated 4 cylinder and if thats not enough you got v-tech, weight reducted, upgraded brakes and suspension, and that whole Type R thing. If you say you cruise a Type R almost no one will mess with you. I dont mean to brag or anything but I have put newerand older camaros, mustangs, and firebirds to shame. If they beat me in a race which isn't likely then when you have to come to almost a complete stop to make a turn I will even take it on the outside twice ass fast as you can go. I have driven many cars including many american muscle cars. I would have to stay with Honda they always start, they last easily 3 times as long as amereican cars, they are not cheaply made like all the plasticy trash intiriors, when you shift it's a smoothe Solid engagment, when you corner it sticks almost no matter how fast you are going, and when those brakes kick in you stop on a dime, and you get 10 times the fuel economy of ANY american car. So to sum it all up if you want a ridiculously big plastic cheaply undependable, gas hog of an american car be my guest, Because I can go out and beat almost any american car at any type of race and at the end of the day I am not broke cause I just burnt a tank of gas every race, and my car still runs!

Strengths:
Stiff Cornering, Tight turning radious, Fast yet economical, RARE, the value of the car barely depreciates, reliable well over 100,000 miles, cheap to repair. This car will never let you down!

Weaknesses:
The only weakness I would have to say doesn't even involve the car it's me. I am only 20 so insurance is kinda high other than that I would not drive another car if you paid me to!

Price Paid:  $17000.00 from Ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
2001 Acura/Integra type R

Summary:
I just bought a type R about 3 weeks ago. I will admit. It is pretty slow when compared to some vehicles. I had a 1993 TT supra less than a month ago though, and I was smoking every V8 out there....Badly too...I decided to downgrade to this car for 2 reasons. Reliablility, and rarity. I got both now, and im happy. And its still kinda fast.

Review 5 of 159

Price Paid:  $14000.00 from Private Seller

Year / Model Reviewed:
2000 Camaro/SS

Summary:
Yeah, lets compare our STi versus a Camaro SS (Left side is the STi, Right is the SS, both stock, and Car and Driver numbers): 0-60 - 4.9 vs. 5.1 0-100 - 13.1 vs. 12.2 1/4th - 13.4 @ 102 vs. 13.6 @ 106 Stock numbers. I think I will pay less than half what you did for your new STi, go spend $6000 on a supercharger and get it to about 500+ horsepower, for...whats that? Yes, thats right...$13000 less than your STi! Now, while you're trying to figure out how to get some more non-existant displacement from your turbocharged-almost-to-the-max 4 cylinder that as soon as you hit the gas cries, "PLEASE! No more! I cant take the pain!" in a high pitched whine similar to that of a 5 year old boy - I will be busy flying by you in my supercharged Camaro SS that cost me a grand total of $20000 with only 20000 miles on it, and has yet to have any reason to need to go to the shop. Oh, and by the way, did I mention the LS1-based engine has been one of the top-10 engines for how long now?

Strengths:
Doesnt look like a retarded blueberry driving down the road with a wing that could potentially make a 747 jealous of its surface area. Doesnt have 4 doors so you have an excuse to tell your friends to find a different ride instead of your own. Isnt drag-limited to 150 MPH. Is built for more than just beating people in races that are about 400 feet long.

Weaknesses:
So cheap to get now and upgrade to the point that the power is sickening, that baby jesus cries over it.
