Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $26950.00 from Patterson- Kilgore,

Year / Model Reviewed:
2009 Dodge Charger R/T

Strengths:
Lots of power,& an honest 25 MPG. 09' R/T's have that variable valve timing; which I think kicked the MPG up about 2. Last year for the Lifetime Drivetrain Warranty. Get one! Search Dodge.com & enter zip.

Weaknesses:
Turn signal indicator lights hard to see on dash in daytime.

Summary:
Love it! Not much money for the performance & looks.

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $0.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
2009 Charger SXT

Strengths:
Styling, rear wheel drive ride and handling

Weaknesses:
Poor rear/side visibility, heavy and underpowered

Summary:
I had been forced to drive an '09 Taurus and now have had a used '09 Charger for about 5000 miles. The Charger is a much better vehicle in so many ways. The main advantage is rear wheel drive, the ride is so much better and the handling more crisp. The interior is laid out better and the seats actually offer some degree of support. The interior materials are cheap, one of the air vent sliders just disintigrated and there is a lot of pebbled plastic everywhere. The engine, even though the upgraded 3.5 L V-6, is weak and the problem is made worse with the sluggish 4speed auto with a very tall 4th gear and a lot of weight. Even disabling the traction control can't arouse this slumbering beast. BUT, it looks good, rides well, is so far dependable and provides so-so (19mpg avg) mileage for a fairly decent price.
