Description:
The 2010 Dodge Charger is a modern, four-door coupe that combines rear-wheel-drive muscle-car power, sports-car handling, leading-edge technology and five-passenger comfort to deliver a thrilling, yet fuel-efficient driving experience.

Modern technologies including Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and All-speed Traction Control make it possible to bring a 21st-century muscle car to market with the ride and handling characteristics inherent in rear-wheel drive. 2010 Dodge Charger rear-wheel-drive models feature outstanding performance and handling, near 50-50 weight distribution and unique suspension tuning for driving excitement.

For even more handling performance, the Road/Track Performance Group offers P245/45R20 all-season performance tires and 20-inch chrome-clad aluminum wheels. Tuned for firmer handling, this package is available on the V-8 HEMI-powered Dodge Charger R/T model and includes performance heated front seats with suede inserts, rear deck-lid and front fascia spoilers, load-leveling and height-control shocks, and performance suspension, steering, brakes, exhaust and induction system.

In addition to the legendary 5.7-liter HEMI V-8-powered Dodge Charger R/T, a Super Track Pack handling package offers even more driving excitement with 20-inch Goodyear Eagle F1 Super Car tires, front and rear Nivomat self-leveling shock-absorbers, a larger rear stabilizer bar, a 3.06 rear-axle ratio and less-intrusive ESC.

Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $26950.00 from Patterson- Kilgore,

Year / Model Reviewed:
2009 Dodge Charger R/T

Strengths:
Lots of power,& an honest 25 MPG. 09' R/T's have that variable valve timing; which I think kicked the MPG up about 2. Last year for the Lifetime Drivetrain Warranty. Get one! Search Dodge.com & enter zip.

Weaknesses:
Turn signal indicator lights hard to see on dash in daytime.

Summary:
Love it! Not much money for the performance & looks.

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $0.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
2009 Charger SXT

Strengths:
Styling, rear wheel drive ride and handling

Weaknesses:
Poor rear/side visibility, heavy and underpowered

Summary:
I had been forced to drive an '09 Taurus and now have had a used '09 Charger for about 5000 miles. The Charger is a much better vehicle in so many ways. The main advantage is rear wheel drive, the ride is so much better and the handling more crisp. The interior is laid out better and the seats actually offer some degree of support. The interior materials are cheap, one of the air vent sliders just disintigrated and there is a lot of pebbled plastic everywhere. The engine, even though the upgraded 3.5 L V-6, is weak and the problem is made worse with the sluggish 4speed auto with a very tall 4th gear and a lot of weight. Even disabling the traction control can't arouse this slumbering beast. BUT, it looks good, rides well, is so far dependable and provides so-so (19mpg avg) mileage for a fairly decent price.

Price Paid:  $16000.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
2006 Dodge Charger R/T V-8

Strengths:
Engine
Looks
handling

Weaknesses:
Eletonic system
Stupid design flaws

Summary:
I love this car and I wish i wasn't having the issues that I am having with it. It has a lot of power and handles great. The interior is great. But since I got the car I have had nothing but eletrical issues. The rear windows wont roll down some of the time. The dealership tried to fix the problem but the last I wnet in there they said they had replaced everything they could and so there wasnt anything else they could do about the problem. Since then I have had problems with the window washer sprayers and the headlights. I also found out that the wheels had a two part tin lug nut. Thsi is a stupid design becasue tin is such a soft metal it warps when you are tahing the wheels on and off. So you basically will be replacing the lug nuts for as long as you own the car. You cant replace them with a differnet lug nut becasue of the special cut on the lug nuts. You have to use the two part tin ones. I love my car but right now I just want to trade it in for something that acctually works.
