Review 1 of 192

Price Paid:  $4750.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
1991 CRX Si

Strengths:
The car handles like a roadster, accelerates like its got twice the power it actualy has(thanks to its weight no doubt), costs less than most economy cars, is easyer on gas than ninety-nine percent of the cars on the road(exept in europe), looks better than any car ever made in the US, and most importantly the chicks love it!

Weaknesses:
If anythin at all was less than stellar on this car it would have to be the moon roof rattles when open(like you can complain? its like buying a million dollar mansion for the price of a shack and then complain that the pool isnt heated! )

Summary:
Oh hohohoho! Hee hee hee heee! Ehhehehehe! Hoo hoo hoo hoowoo! Just about sums it up.

Similar Products Used:
many people said it looks like a porche. I dont know. I once saw a mazda mx-7 or some other wierd named car that looked like a crx wanna-be. No car in that costs any where near this one compares in performance or comfort or style.

Review 2 of 192

Price Paid:  $9500.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
1991 si

Strengths:
fast, reliable, good gas mileage, looks great, many after market parts, attracts alot of attention on the street, easy to clean and maintain, did i mention it is fast! (aslong as u have a suped dx or hf, or at least a stock si or a suped si like mine), easy to see out rear window.

Weaknesses:
rust on back fenders is common, back hatch rattles when driving or when pounding my bass, without sway bars (like mine) handling may be tricky but still very good

Summary:
I love this car, my engine is not the stock crx si engine it is a 95 civic si engine and it goes pretty good. The car loks good, handles good, its good on gas, reliable. I can get many parts for my car for better performance, to keep adding more and more horses. (and im only 16). I love it for its size, i may have less horses than other cars but the shear weight and size benefits me in races. I've beatn a 300zx, 89 supra, civcs si's, other crx's, suped escort gts, a mr2, intgras, sunfire gt's, preludes, and im always lookn to test my baby out.

Review 3 of 192

Price Paid:  $3000.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
1991 CRX DX

Strengths:
A LOT of room, everywhere you look, there is a compartment to put things. You can fit a lot into this car. Handels pretty well, and EXCELLENT gas mileage.

Weaknesses:
No air conditioning, no power windows, (or locks, or brakes, or steering, or moon-roof) RUST! Just starting to form on the rear wheel wells. Watch out for the CRX's that have been raced alot, and have high miles.

Summary:
I love my CRX! I would like to have a del Sol, but what can you haul in that? I have moved 3 times with the help of my CRX, take out the back folding area, and you can fit almost anything in there!! I did do a lot of mechanical work to it (timing belt, struts, exhaust work, misc. engine stuff) but it was well worth it. Take care of it, and it will take care of you.

Review 4 of 192

Price Paid:  $7000.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
1991 CRX Si

Strengths:
great gas mileage, very fast, low maintenance

Weaknesses:
Definitely the rust issue and the timing belt

Summary:
I bought my 91 CRX Si almost 6 years ago for $7000.00. I loved the car because it was small & sporty yet quite fast. I was also tired of driving everyone else around and I figured that a 2 seater would solve that problem. I loved that car so much. Unfortunately a few days ago a lady hit me doing 35 mph and totalled my car.

Review 5 of 192

Price Paid:  $7000.00

Strengths:
Acceleration, looks, sound when applied the right exhaust :), cornering (grip etc), VTEC (especially when it kicks in), Fuel consumption, well...
almost everything :)

Weaknesses:
rust, costs when dealer-maintananced, don't take any of your friends with you if their longer than 1.80 meters :)

Summary:
Bought it about 1,5 years ago, a little overpriced. In the meantime I've had no real problems, except for rust. I'll be trying to loose the brown spots this summer :)

It's one of the few cars that can grip my attention for longer than 6 months...
I just can't get tired of looking at them, let alone driving them :)

The VTEC is immensely cool...
when you're doing 5500 RPM's, it kicks in and you feel like you're starting all over again...

Only thing is, if you don't watch out, it's a coffin on wheels!!!
(even with the great grip and everything, I experienced a couple of slides... So I'll be driving a bit more carefull in the rain from now on :) )

that's it really...
I just love it !!!

Similar Products Used:
corrado 18v / golf gti: they only see your taillights
corrado / golf vr6: don't take 'em on over 120 on the highway... but from 0-60 you should be faster
corrado / golf g60: unless the engine is in a golf type I, you can beat them (same as vr6)
other GTi cars: the taillights-story again :)

in other words: even when completely stock, they're pure heaven!!!
