Review 3 of 259

Price Paid:  $0.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
2006 Hyundrai/ Elantra

Summary:
Smooth quiet ride.I recently purchased a 2006 Hyundai Elantra in Moncton, N.B.
The car is a 4 cylinder. Seats 4 adults comfortably.
It does not like the ice and snow, even with winter tires on it, back end tends to sway. I put 4 bags of traction sand in the trunk for weight, much better.

Strengths:
Handles rather well and a quiet ride.It has good pick up and go, with little to no hesitation while attempting to pass on the highway.

Weaknesses:
My wife and I were rather disappointed with the dealer after everything was finalized. It took two weeks for the dealer to get the registration changed over. Three days after the papers were signed I was in to pick up the plates, not in yet, but they did give me a copy of the insurance card the insurance co. sent them. Three days later I was in again, they said they didn’t get the insurance card. I gave them a copy of the one they gave me. Registration was ours 2 weeks after we made the purchase.
Even better; we went to a garage to buy winter tires, we found out that 2 of the 4 all season tires were not new especially after the Internet ad stated “NEW TIRES”. I emailed the business manager, and that is when we found out that even if the Internet ad says, NEW TIRES, it means “more than one”, not necessarily 4. My wife was told, “You (we) didn’t ask”, we (the dealer) didn’t say”. And I didn’t get under it and check. So be sure you ask how many tires are new or any other questions. If you don’t ask they’re not going to tell you.

Year / Model Reviewed:
2006 Stratus

Summary:
I would like to know how to contact the proper person/s regarding your Stratus ad. It is the ad with the policewoman necking with a gup in a red Stratus. What are you telling the public??? It is a complete put down of women and of female policewomen. It is degrading to all females!! And what are yo telling our children who are watching the Hockey Game!!!!

Price Paid:  $0.00 from Jim Pattison-Surrey

Year / Model Reviewed:
2006 Elantra GT Hatchback

Summary:
In the year 2000 I was looling for a new car. I had spent large sums of money that I had not budgeted for with past vehicles, so I checkd Edmunds, consumers, road and track etc. and they all wrote Hyundai was at the top of the pick. So I bought an elanta SW. After 6 years great service, I bought a 2006 GT Hatchback standard. Great gas and zoom zoom, love, love. Talk about well built!

Strengths:
handling, strong doors, mileage, brakes, headlights, style, quality, stereo, (6 speakers, fovourite songs on home stereo sound as good). Pretty, fog lights, sun roof, etc.

Weaknesses:
gear shift can sound chunky when in the garage, ie reverse

Similar Products Used:
Protege, 2003 Camry (2nd car, liked auto, no fun, but classy enough)
