from Jim Pattison-Surrey Year / Model Reviewed: 2006 Elantra GT Hatchback Strengths: handling, strong doors, mileage, brakes, headlights, style, quality, stereo, (6 speakers, fovourite songs on home stereo sound as good). Pretty, fog lights, sun roof, etc. Weaknesses: gear shift can sound chunky when in the garage, ie reverse Summary: In the year 2000 I was looling for a new car. I had spent large sums of money that I had not budgeted for with past vehicles, so I checkd Edmunds, consumers, road and track etc. and they all wrote Hyundai was at the top of the pick. So I bought an elanta SW. After 6 years great service, I bought a 2006 GT Hatchback standard. Great gas and zoom zoom, love, love. Talk about well built! Similar Products Used: Protege, 2003 Camry (2nd car, liked auto, no fun, but classy enough)
