Review 1 of 50

Price Paid:  $0.00 from Orlando

Year / Model Reviewed:
2002 Camaro

Strengths:
none

Weaknesses:
everything

Summary:
test drove this car with my mother as she was looking at the Nissan 200 sx. We both found it to be weak and tight. Has no torque and and no passing power on the highway. Engine strains to pass the rigs doing 80mph+. Poor handling at high speeds. My camaro just sails by this car with my pedal half way down. 230 ft-lbs of torque on my the high revving v-6 made her buy a v-6 pontiac grand prix. No more 4 cylinders again!

Similar Products Used:
all imports with 4 cylinders stink. V-6 and up is the way to go. V-6 30 mpg and my sis's ol cavalier 4 cylider got 28 mpg. go figure!

Review 3 of 50

Price Paid:  $16000.00 from Freeland SW Florida

Year / Model Reviewed:
1998 200SX-SE

Strengths:
Reliable engine. A well taken care of Nissan will last forever.

Weaknesses:
Noisy interior. Not fun on long trips. Shifting rather rubbery. Cheap tires. Radio and power windows broke. Rear brakes make an awful noise!!!

Summary:
Very reliable little coupe that''s starting to wear a little thin. I had an `85 Accord before that needed a lot of money put into it, I opted instead to put my money into a new car. The CD player broke after the first year. The dealer told me to go to a stereo shop. I''ve had a loud noise coming from the rear brakes that the dealer either cannot or will not fix. The passenger side power window is broken. (And I never use it) Haven''t looked into fixing it yet. I just find it a little frustrating that these "little things" break on the car. The front tires wore out after only a short time. I replaced them and had the front end alligned. They were cheap tires to boot. The new tires are much better.

Review 4 of 50

Price Paid:  $18000.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
1998 200SX SE-R

Strengths:
Reliability, handling, performance, acceleration, front seat room and comfort, many amenities for an econo sport coupe. Very good air/heat system, fast and powerful.

Weaknesses:
Really crappy sound system, even if you get the so-called premium version with the SE-R package of upgrades. The speakers were trash and the head unit, made by Clarion, is real junk. Replaced with Blaupunkt Nevada(mot very good), an a/d/s/ amp (fantastic), and MB Quart speakers(the best out out there). Poor turning radius, true of many Nissan models. Cheapo interior treatment

Summary:
This is a long term follow-up on my earlier review when my car was new. This car gets better with use and is now three years old. It is faster, handles better, and stops shorter than when new. And, it was mighty good when new. those of you who missed it when it was available, eat your heart out. Those of you who have one, keep it for at least one hundred thousand miles. This car is a friend for the long run. I can afford the more luxurious and costly competition, but why pay for that when I have this enjoyable and sturdy performer? Not a single problem in three years. For the driver who wants performance, handling, reliability, and economy in a very useful sport coupe configuration, this car is it.

Similar Products Used:
The only rival is the 2001 Sentra SE (which has the same lovely engine), maybe the Infiniti G20 for more posh and cash.

Review 5 of 50

Price Paid:  $13000.00

Strengths:
Super performance, great looks, lovely leather interior

Weaknesses:
The standard alloy wheels I thought were a bit average, so I now have 7-spoke League Tantrums on there. Highly recommended.

Summary:
This car was privately purchased instead of opting for a company car, and what a great investment it is. Excellent performance, eye-catching good looks, good 10-stack cd player. If you're unsure at the moment whether you want one, you certainly won't regret buying it
