Price Paid:  $21000.00 from new car sales german

Year / Model Reviewed:
2005 toyota celica gt

Summary:
This is the sweetest car on the market, and since its the last time celica will be around after 2005, imma take care of this car, it might have a 140 power engine but it is light as hell and it is fast. i live in germany and this car keeps up with the other coupes, its as fast as you want it to be and the looks are sharp. buy it before there is none left to buy.

Strengths:
looks and engine strenght

Weaknesses:
none, just blind spots

Similar Products Used:

Review 2 of 219

Price Paid:  $22978.00 from Jasper Alabama

Year / Model Reviewed:
2004 Toyota Celica GT W/ActionPackage. Solar Yellow

Summary:
This car is one of the best you can buy. It is made by a respectible company, and it has a good price tag. I have had this car for about (since the posting of this review) 3 days. I already have 108 miles on it. I have read other reviews that say this car is fun to drive. I never knew what that meant till i drove this beauty off the lot. I couldn't turn it off. i just kept goin till i almost got lost, then decided it was a good time to turn around. The dealership (John Crump Toyota) worked extremely well to get me this car. The car with shipping costed 22624. I had nothing to trade in, and they still gave me a deal. They gave me matts(119) and a wind deflector (129)for free, and with taxes they let me go with this car for 22978.79. Not bad. however. this car isn't all gold. It does have some downfalls. The blindspots are and extreme danger to inexperienced drivers, and a bother to good ones. also, the acceleration is lacking for such a sporty car, but will get better as you get up into the higher gears. The braking and steering are magnificient. U won't find a better handling car for this price. The standard stereo is also quite sufficient, but if you prefer to listen to hip hop, rap, or heavier rock, you may opt to install a subwoofer as the standard speakers don't hit that well. This car is a somewhat weak 4 banger, but the car only weighs 2500 pounds. That makes it a paperweight compared to other cars in it's class. It also gets great fuel milage. i have 108 miles on my first tank, and haven't passed the first quarter marker yet. all in all, about 32 miles a gallon to a 14.5 gal tank. now i am 6 foot 3 in, and i have read reviews of people shorter than i am saying that they can't fit. That was the secondmost buying factor for me. this car had ample room for me. that said, most of my height is in my legs, and the seats slide back all the way to the back seat. The rear seats are only for the shorties. They are NOT for anyone over 5'7. All in all, i love my celica. more good features than bad ones. if you prefer more passenger room, go with the toyota camry.

Strengths:
Sharp Styling Good Stereo Outstanding Handling Great Gas Milage Brakes Stop Car Fast, Even Without ABS (anti lock brakes) Fun To Drive Lots Of Legroom

Weaknesses:
Dangerous Blindspots, escpically with a large spoiler. Weak jumpstart Acceleration Not a lot of room in the back seat, unles you are lacking legs.

Review 3 of 219

Price Paid:  $19000.00 from Ira Toyota

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 Toyota Celica GT

Summary:
I love my Silver Streak Toyota Celica GT! Not only is it one of the best looking cars I've seen for such a great price, it is also comfortable and dependable. I have recieved a ton of compliments on it. It is fun to drive, and it shifts and accelerates smoothly. Would definately recomend a Celica to anyone who craves the attention of a beautiful looking, but also dependable car. I am also 5'8" and find no problems as far as room in the car.

Strengths:
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!!

Weaknesses:
Blind spots, front is low and easily scratched.

Review 4 of 219

Price Paid:  $25000.00 from Maita Toyota

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 TRDToyota Celica GTS

Summary:
When I bought this car at the dealer, it was displayed in a detail garage for inspection delivered all the way from the land of the rising run. it was equiped with a TRD action package with all the ground effects kit and the tall spoiler. when i took it home, man it was a head turner cuz it looked so mean and sporty. so far i added a injen cold air intake, DC Sports racing headers, Greddy Evolution exhuast and a Apexi Power FC. i managed a impressive 1/4 mile time of 14.5 at the track. when i had it stock i did a decent 15.1. if u are in the sacramento area in california you'll see me at the sacramento raceway.

Strengths:
handling is one of the best in its class, but i still recommend the new MR2 chassis. power delivery was good stock but now its a monster with the mods i put on

Weaknesses:
drones on the freeway especially after adding modified parts
