2006 LT Summary:
We bought this vehicle specifically for a 100 mile round trip commute that is done 5 days a week. We have been very happy with its performance. It averages 28-30 mpg. It is comfortable for our wide frames. We have a more base model, but we do have auto trans and remote start. There is a small adjustment needed because the power window controls are in the center console, but this is nice since we have dogs and they have put the window up on there neck in the truck we have. The HHR only comes with Front Wheel Drive, but has good ground clearance. We put studded snow tires on all four and it has handled GREAT on the snow and ice. Strengths:
distinctive look, comfortable interior and ride, nice base model options. Handles corners and bad road conditions well. Good mpg for its size. Weaknesses:
Nothing worth noting.
