Strengths:
Steers and handles nicely quiet operation on highway

Weaknesses:
Fog Lamps are Hard wired to the Head light switch, Parking lamp position, and Cannot be switched off by vehicle operator In Park position, Nor on High beam, nor on low beam ( poor design for parking and meeting uncoming traffic) Portrays too much light for others. Especially in clear weather. Unit requires installation of an illuminated,Dash Mounted, fog lamp control switch to improve vehicle safety

This is a nice vehicle to drive and own

Strengths:
Everything, from the cup holders to the rear vented windows. I'm upset they stopped production of this van. ( not a fan of the freestar )

Weaknesses:
Could use a little more interior room like the dodge but i could live with it, better then having a dodge,lol

Summary:
Never thought myself to be a minivan person but at the age of 28 married with a 2 year old this van is heaven sent, leather heated seats, Video system, Power Everything who could ask for more. I bought this after I handed in my 2002 explorer one year early (that truck, stay away from, I filed lemon law and won!!) The Service department at toms ford is ABOVE AND BEYOND what I have ever dealt with that is the main reason i went with another ford after the lemon. I have read all the reviews, and I have to say, im not sure they are driveing the same van!

Strengths:
fit and finish, heater, vcr, five star safety, advance trac system.

Weaknesses:
none at this time

Summary:
I think this is the best looking mini van on the market. The limited just has all the creature comforts one could want. The engine is very smooth and with plenty of power. The transmission shifts are so smooth, the only way you know it did shift is to watch the tachometer. This is are first mini van and is everything we expected. With three kids it has all the room we need.

Strengths:
Looks, power, luxury galore, comfy seats, and creature comforts all over. Love the tv/vcr...great for kids. Reverse sensing system is a great feature along with the power sliders.

Weaknesses:
Had a problem with it at 149 miles. When you would put it in drive it would be in neutral, in reverse...drive. Took it in and the shift interlock box was open....they had to take the whole lower section of the dashboard off to replace the box. Also the windshield wiper momtors went out at the same time. They replaced eveything and the dashboard was put together perfectly. Service has continually been tops. Now has 9,000 miles and we recieved out first recall for the seat latches. No other problems to report.

Summary:
I love my Windstar! We looked at the Oddesey...too boring; can it get any plainer? Checked out the T@C and dodge vans which were nice but the one we/I wanted was $35,000 and they weren't willing to negotiate as much as Ford. Checked out GM's vans which were nice as well but too slow and the interiors were a bit on the cheap side. So we ended up with the full boat, top of the line 03 Windstar Limited. MSRP was just over $36,000 but we got it for an amazing $28,500! The Estate Green metallic paint is absolutely amazing and is so rich looking and holds up really well against the rock salt up here in PA. Two-tone leather looks great and the heat warms up to the perfect temperature. The wood, chrome, and leather is perfectly placed and is all over without being overly done. I think it looks better than any other van out there....even the new vans that have come out.

Strengths:
the van is really roomy and comfortable i like the body shape and style

Weaknesses:
gutless even with the 3.8l and ford has poor customer service these people should be repremanded by ford this is why they loose so much business

Summary:
I purchased the vehicle in august 2003 it is not september 2003 i have had it a total of 5 weeks and it has been in the shop 2 time now for the same problem the right fromt weel shakes badly and the customer service at this dealer ship is horrible i would n ot recomend purchasing anuthing at this dealer ship
