The S4 is Audi’s high-performance version of the A4 near-luxury sedan that was added to the lineup in the 2000 model year. The Sport Sedan is equipped with a standard 4.2-liter, V8, 340-horsepower engine that achieves 13-mpg in the city and 20-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard. The Cabriolet with Tiptronic is equipped with a standard 4.2-liter, V8, 340-horsepower engine that achieves 14-mpg in the city and 21-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
