The 2003 Audi RS 6, based off the A6 platform, is powered by a modified 4.2 liter 450 horsepower, biturbo V8 engine. Standard equipment includes a five-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission with more than 200 shift programs (DSP), Electronic Stabilization Program (ESP), brake assist, and a Parktronic acoustic parking system. The RS6 is the first offering for the U.S. market from quattro GmbH, the performance division of Audi the produced the RS 4 and RS 2 for the European market.
