Description: The Audi TT is a 2-door, up to 4-passenger luxury sports coupe, or luxury convertible, available in two trims, the 2.0T Prem Plus Coupe quattro S tronic and the 2.0T Prem Plus Roadster quattro S tronic.
Both trims are equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 211-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 22-mpg in the city and 31-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
Strengths: looks, brakes are good, handles well, quattro, and it looks good :D, oh did i mention it looks good
Weaknesses: even with more power its still too heavy to be considered fast, rear visibility is limited but if you adjust the mirrors properly its not bad, hard to keep clean
Summary: Basically this car is visually stunning ive only had it for a few days so far and its great. the 225hp engine does dissapoint a bit so i may have to try the v6 out when the lease is up. the handling characteristics of this car are so neutral and predictable it gives anyone the confidence to drive quickly in any weather conditions. it rained today and it was the first time i had been able to drive it in the rain, and once the esp is off a whole new side of the car shows itself. this car is untouchable in nasty weather
Similar Products Used: 99 TT this was an early preproduction model, and it is easy to tell that audi has been putting a lot into improving the vehicle. the engine bay has been left out though. the six will help, but even 25
Weaknesses: When upgrading to a 6-disc CD changer, the radio on the console is not changed, and one ends up with an additional CD on-dash, which is somewhat convenient, but a bit annoying. Attracts too much attention at times
Summary: This car is just awsome! It definitely drives like a German car. A nearly four year-old production model that definitely turns heads; it's all about style and design. The interior is indeed one of the best among sport cars these days. Brakes are incredible! I drive an average of 70 miles/day always in a hurry, and this car's power, speed, and responsiveness is just great. Of course it's not faster than a Corvette or a Boxster, but I am not planning on racing (especially on daily traffic...). This much style (hate-or-love it kind of style though)and the solid Audi reputation for this price is a very good deal.

Strengths: -Great handling
-Quiet interior
-Unique styling
-Quality workmanship and materials
-Spacious interior for a sports car(front seats)
Weaknesses: -Small trunk space
-back seat is not convenient
Summary: When I first saw this car I was impressed with it's style. Being 6'7" I had come to the sad realization that sports cars weren't my size. That is until I sat in the TT. The interior is spacious and with the seat all the way back and down I have about 2 inches of extra head room. I was amazed! I test drove the roadster but the only draw back was the huge blind spot because of having the seat all the way back. I dont have that problem with the coupe because of the rear window.
I bought a white Quattro 225 with the upgraded Bose stereo and the Xenon headlights. Both are worth the additional cash paid for them. I would also recommend getting the all weather floor mats, they will catch a lot of debris and will last a lot longer than the carpet mats that come standard.
In the 3 months I have had the car there has only been one cosmetic problem. The paint on one of the roof rails had a few small bubbles in it. I took it into the dealer they gave me a loaner A4 and I had my car back in 4 days, problem fixed. My dealer went out of their way to make sure everything was right even after I had signed the paperwork.
The car handles amazingly at higher speeds and has a quiet interior except for the great exhaust sound. Because of the small size of the engine most of its power comes in the higher rpms. That took some getting used to but now is a non-factor.
For the money this is a great all around sports car. Not the fastest, but can hold its own on the road.

Strengths: Baseball Leather is awesome. Handling is surprisingly good for a small car. The engine cools down very quickly after ignition is turn off. Lots of little compartment for you to place stuff, but you can never find it afterward.
Weaknesses: Radio Covers doesn''t have a lock. Cup holders are awkward. The glove compartment can only fit a pair of gloves, Trunk is small. Turbo lag when car is starting.
Summary: This is the first Audi that I''ve ever bought. I''ve heard a lot of bad things about Audi, especially TT. Originally, I was looking for the new A4. I went into the showroom and there it was, the new 2002 Audi TT. A brand new color, white, and the Baseball Optic Leather. This combination caught my eyes right away. Immediately, I ask a saleperson for a test drive. When I first started the car, I immediately felt the turbo lag. After first gear, I was convinced that this is my car. I didn''t expect a 180hp car to perform so well. The leather seat is very supportive. The hydaulic clutch is very light compare to the convenitonal clutchs. With the premium package added to the car, the supsensions are much tighter, the wheels are wider, and the exhaust is upgraded. When I had the top openned, the rear wind deflector really works. The Bose Audio Upgrade is a must.

Strengths: Style, handling are the strengths. I have had little trouble with any Audi, contrary to some opinions I have heard. My TT has no problems at all yet.
Weaknesses: Power could be better, goofy side windows are hard to see out of. Wish they found a way to put in a sun roof too.
Summary: I owned an A4 and one day when i took it in for service I saw my first TT. I vowed to own one. It''s so stylish that I still get looks even though the model has been around for several years.
I enjoy its zip, even though the 180 hp engine is not a racing machine it''s enough for me. Handling is great, ride is good for a small car, luxury appointments make the deal IMHO.
