The 2010 Camaro is a 2-door, 4-passenger sports car, available in 5 trims, ranging from the LS Coupe to the 2SS Coupe.
The LS Coupe is equipped with a standard 3.6-liter, V6, 304-horsepower engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 29-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional. The 2SS Coupe is equipped with a standard 6.2-liter, V8, 426-horsepower engine that achieves 16-mpg in the city and 24-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard.
Strengths: Fun to drive, great styling, alot of features, affordable
Weaknesses: Seats take a few weeks to get used to, roofline is low for taller people
Summary: Simply an amazing car. The V6 has plenty of power and decent fuel economy, plus it uses 87 octane. The styling is second to none, and the interior is actually very ergonomic and has alot of nice features such as Bluetooth, XM and iPod hookup all controlled via your steering wheel buttons. The interior looks amazing at night with all the cool blue ambient lighting. For around $30k, I feel like it is alot of car, and it feels really solid, well made. I typically buy V8, but this six can move. I upgraded to an aftermarket Corsa exhaust, and the sound is addicting.

Weaknesses: Changing sparkplugs or any other of the numerous things that break suck to repair on these cars more then others. Weak 7.625" rear end, GM must have been smoking crack on that one. Skip shift, Floorpan bump and other passenger compartment features suck. Still has styling white trash is drawn to more so then any other car. These cars are great when they run into a tree or other immovable object, as they make great drivetrain donors for a car that isn't a pile of crap. Sorry, just can't really say anything good when GM has far better cars to offer then this over-rated turd. Avoid like the plague, unless you are buying as a parts car.
Summary: Good Acceleration, Styling leaves something to be desired. Classic mullet car features, destined to be on cement blocks infront of a trailer someday, but seriously, the skip shift function is crap, the ergonomics of the interior suck, and the bump on the pass side front seat area is retarted, could have designed exhaust better and eliminated the bump needed for cat. clearance. These cars suck to work on. Hopefully they will all set fire soon so i never have to work on another one again. Driving a 4th Gen F-body is about as fun as recieving a handjob from a lumberjack. Rough, unrewarding, and just leaves you frusterated.
Similar Products Used: GM mechanic, so entire GM line of cars, after driving others i can see why GM discontinued them, hope the new ones in 09 arent as big of turds as the 4th gen f bodys were. Seems like the Mustang is a better car. Thats why the GTO gone also (overpriced piece of crap, but good parts car when it gets smashed up also.) Hopefully GM will remove its head from its ass and finally make a decent, affordable (28k or less) rear drive car that doesn't suffer from the Mullet stigma like the camaro did.

Strengths: Effectively nothing more than straight ahead acceleration - on a nice day. More than offset by a host of disadvantages.
Weaknesses: Single season capability (indeed dangerous in the snow!), unreliable, cheaply made - a throwback to the era before competition in quality and performance lowered the American car share of the market below 50%.
Summary: Darwin was correct! The dinosaurs died out because they couldn't adapt, and in many cases were just plain useless! Certainly the case with the late and unlamented Chevrolet Camaro. Cheap, and cheaply made, with a steering wheel from an Impala, and an interior that makes a taxi cab look luxurious, they were unreliable, single season vehicles. Consumer Reports and other consumer publications provide nothing but grief for the unfortunate owners identifying a large number of problem areas including power and electrial issues, engine, cooling, etc etc - a string of black marks from literally thousands of owners that no doubt lead to the death of the car. The advent of the mamals, quick, fast, and RELIABLE such as the Subaru WRX would have hastened this evolutionary process. Vehicles that not only don't lose their competitive edge when its raining, or sleeting, or snowing, but in fact increase their advantage in inclement weather now rule the roads.

Strengths: Acceleration, stopping, mid and end range power are its strongest points.
Weaknesses: I am still not to happy with the the rough ride at moderate speeds, but a new supension is in the planning.
Summary: This car impresses me with its ability to remain calm at speeds over 110 mpr. It corners well in the mountains, and atracts all the attention because it is a limited edition.
