(2005 - 2006) The Ford GT is Ford’s mid-engine two-seat sports car. Powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 that produces 500 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque, the design is inspired by the legendary Ford GT race cars of the 1960s that swept the top three positions at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1966.
