Year / Model Reviewed:
2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer
Power, stability, maneuverability, visibility, and price.
The rear seal on the back hatch degraded about two months ago. Dealer replaced it. Nothing other problems thus far.
This has proven to be an excellent vehicle for me. I go mountain biking and on occasional long trips and this is the definitely a great family / off-road vehicle. With the roof racks and a storage box on top, I can comfortably transport my family, my dog, and my luggage without a problem, yet it's not so huge that I can't find parking in tight spaces. The vehicle is very versatile. Some of the large SUVs are nice, but they are fuel hogs and take up a lot of room in some parking lot spaces.
I bought this vehicle used with 13,000 miles on it and it now has 20,000 miles on it. It drives better now than it did when I bought it and looked / drove like it was brand new then. I finally bought a vehicle that I don't feel like I've wasted my money on.
