A little less cargo space compared to others in its class
The redesigned 2011 Kia Sportage offers an incredible set of standard equipment and safety features, excellent versatility, and strong value.
The Sportage is a five passenger vehicle that is offered in front-wheel or all-wheel drive. A 176-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine is standard on the Base, LX and EX trims. A 256-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is standard on the SX trim and available on all other trims. A six-speed manual transmission is standard on the Base model, while all other models feature a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard safety features include four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, electronic stability program, traction control, and six airbags, including side curtain airbags.
The Kia Sportage is all new for 2011. It features a larger engine, new transmissions, new exterior features like body-colored mirrors, black wheel well trim, and an all new grille. Inside the Sportage has been enhanced with metal-look interior accents. It's longer, wider and lower then the previous generation with ample cargo space, while standard air conditioning, Sirius satellite radio, audio and cruise steering wheel controls make for a very enjoyable ride.
