from Newport Mazda Year / Model Reviewed: 2007 Grand Touring Strengths: The car has amazing power I've had mine up to 100 miles an hour (once) without trying. I love room inside and it's comfortable car to drive long distance, handles great in the snow. Weaknesses: You have you use high grade gas and this car drinks the gas. In the past I've put 200,000 miles and up to 300,000.00 miles, Volvo and Toyota- this car won't see 60,000. to many problems, tires went at 20,000, O2 Sensor at 35,000, EGR and Throttle body at 50,000 to the tune of 1,100 just for those two sensors that does not include the labor Oh and I don't want to forget the wheel barrings are gone. To many repairs for me - if i can drive a car 300,000 and never replace a wheel barring there is something wrong with this car. the car has 53,000 and it's being Traded in tomorrow. Summary: I loved the Idea of the crossover which is why I bought the CX7 - before this car i always had an SUV for the winter and a sports car for the summer.
The CX-just isn't holding up.
you can read plenty of blogs from other owners that are having the same problems I am... Similar Products Used: I had a Mazda Miata for 11 years and never had a problem with anything just basic maintenance. The CX7 has turned me off from Mazda forever.
