from Ft. Bend Toyota in S Year / Model Reviewed: 2009 Venza Strengths: It's the right size. High enough off of the ground to get in and out comfortably. Dashboard layout is well thought out. Good enough power under the hood. The dual moonroof is awesome. Weaknesses: The exterior rearview mirrors are a little limiting in their view due to their odd shape. The radio/sat radio/CD player sounds good at any volume, but doesn't get as loud as I would like it. Summary: OK, so I've only enjoyed this vehicle for a few days, but am liking it quite a bit. We call this the family spaceship. It is very modern with the right mix of technology. It handles and drives nicely. The electronic power steering takes a little getting used to, when you are stopped or moving slowly the steering is very easy, as you speed up the steering firms up. I'm a big guy and all of the seats are very comfortable. There's enough room for a big load of groceries without having to drop the back seats down.
I'll update this review as time goes on, but the overall first impression is great. Similar Products Used: Traded a 2002 Dodge Pickup. Have never really owned an SUV before. This will be my first Toyota.
