"Toyota’s RAV4 is a compact sport-utility vehicle that is slightly larger than some of its competition — it’s one of the few vehicles in its class to offer a third row. But despite its relatively large size, it’s also one of the lightest vehicles in its segment..."
Summary: I love my Toyota Rav4. The right is so quiet, it handles beautifully, is great on gas and it looks so nice. It is a nice green color called Everglade Metallic. It is also very roomy, it appears much bigger than its earlier counterparts. There really isn't much to complain about with it. The last car I had was a Honda Civic. It never left me stranded, always started no matter how hot or cold. I was very hard on that car too! I hope I have the same experience with my safe fun Toyota! I think I've changed loyalties to Toyota!

Summary: In general, I'm not very happy with this new car
Strengths: comfortable and spacious for a samml driver like me. very simple features which are driver fiendly.
Weaknesses: it's only about mor ethan amonth since I purchased it and I noticed that there are already noise coming from the parts of the vehicles like inside the dash board. it seems there are loose parts inside it.
Similar Products Used: compared to honda crv which gives me the impression of being solid and no oose parts, this new toyota rav 4 2008 is a disappoinment.

Summary: This is a great little SUV. We got the base model 4 cyl. and it has great pick up. I didn't feel any need for a V6. I tried other makes SUV but they felt more like boats then cars. This one drives like a small nimble car. The is a 10 chapter video on RAV4 at HandBookLive.com, and they go over all the details of the car - how to access tools, how to operate cruise control, radio, how to adjust the sterring wheel, etc. It is a great way to preview the features of this car and get a "feel" for it.
We only had this car for a couple of weeks, but we absolutely love it. It is very well designed - everythigh is right where you want it. It is just so much fun to drive.
Strengths: Good design, great pick up, lots of storage, easy controls, handles in the back that you can pull to lower back seats without having to open the side door, storage spaces
Weaknesses: rear window visibility could be better. When cars get too close I can no longer see them. Might be a problem in the dark. But maybe all SUVs are like it - I never had a car that was high off the ground.

Summary: Awesome SUV!!! The Best! I recommend getting the V6! The V6 makes it a rocket! This is my first Toyota and I love it!
Strengths: Style, comfort, V6, roomy, very nice ride and gas mileage is pretty good!
Weaknesses: I had to get my radio replaced twice.
Similar Products Used: I used to have a Honda Accord, but I decided to trade it in because I need a little more room b/c I have 3 dogs etc.
I test drove the new CR-V which was nice but not roomy like the Rav 4 and I didn't like that the CR-V did not come in a V6.
