Review 1 of 45

Price Paid:  $430000.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
2008 LT3

Strengths:
large cabin, really cool cargo area, can be extremely well equipped. very nice ride. it's a good truck for folks that don't really need a pickup very often.

Weaknesses:
PRICE! the price on this vehicle is too much. it should be priced about 10 grand less than it actually is. and it's very sluggish to accelerate.

Summary:
When we first set out to review this truck I really didn't like, but after spending the day with it, I have to say it's grown on me. It's just enough truck for most people. Plenty of room in the cab, and an innovate bed/cargo area. check out our full review here:

it's in episode 4 where we compare it to the honda ridge line.

Review 2 of 45

Price Paid:  $25000.00 from FALLS GM

Year / Model Reviewed:
2007 LT1 AVALANCHE

Strengths:
Style, functunality, smooth ride and performance

Weaknesses:
NOTHING I KNOW GAS BUT YOU HAVE A TRUCK

Summary:
I traded in a Jeep Liberty for my Avalanche. The Liberty had gas mileage of 15 city and 20 highway. That is ridiculous for such a small vehicle. My Avalanche is getting 15 city and 20 highway and has all the room and comfort that I never had in the Jeep. Why would you want to own a gas drinking Jeep when you can have the Avalanche with all the ammenities? I'm very happy with my Avalanche and feel it gets good gas mileage for a truck.

Year / Model Reviewed:
2007 LTZ

Strengths:
smooth ride, hauls a ton, great looking truck, holds value compared to other trucks

Weaknesses:
gas mileage

Summary:
Excellent, replace an '03 Avalanche with 125,000 with a new '07....love it apart from the gas mileage.

Review 5 of 45

Price Paid:  $32500.00 from rapid city chevrolet

Year / Model Reviewed:
2005 Chev Avalanche

Strengths:
great style and seating
I sold chevrolets for 20 years and finaly bought my own new truck after retiring from car business and I am very disapointed in the build quality of this vehicle. If chevrolet can ever fix my problem instead of just telling me they all do it.

Weaknesses:
Terribles rattles in dash and roof, creaking noise in suspension,I pull a 3500 pound camper and it gets 9mpg at 60mph,dealers just laugh off rattle problems because they dont get paid enough from warranty comp-gm to make it worth while for them.

Summary:
I like the look of the truck, I bought the LT model.

Similar Products Used:

currently also have 2004 chev imapala ss
indianapolis edition-very cool car -plate reads "Indy-SS" only 4088 built
