from PACIFICO MARPLE Year / Model Reviewed: 2009 SUZUKI EQUATOR SPORT CREW Strengths: Interior room is good for drivers over 6 foot; roomy rear seat room with underseat and behind seat storage(jack); good carry capacity in bed with bed extender and tie down hooks;4WD performed admirably in 10 plus inches snow;good engine pickup for passing n highway. Weaknesses: Fuel economy less than advertised; rust spots developing on rear tire wells, weatherstripping around driver door is not as durable as expected;wind noise at highway speed is annoying but can be reduced by adjusting windows. Summary: Overall, I am satisfied with my truck purchase. Unfortunately with recent dealer closures, it's not as easy to get waranty issues taken care. I chose interior crew cab space versus a longer bed. Still have room inside for carrying groceries or other packages when I don't have passengers. I give it 4 stars becuae it performs as expected. I didn't expect to worry about rust so soon or the weatherstripping around the door. But I found the truck I liked with a good price; offering value at the time. Similar Products Used: I previously owned a 1978 Chevy C-10 Custom Deluxe, very bare bone truck at the time, with 8 ft bed and Rear Wheel Drive.
