Review 1 of 1 , from Auckland New Zealand

Price Paid:  $30.00

Strengths:
great sound and good price. Easy to pull through as the hard teflon coating is slippery to a degree but you may need to cut the end to a round so it doesn't catch as you push it through.

Weaknesses:
none

Summary:
Ok, I actually only use the Flatline and not the SPM. I've heard the SPM and it's amazing but cannot believe that someone would want to spend that much for their home audio let alone their mobile audio! We did actually sell a couple of sets though for someone's home system.

I have been using the Flatline for near on 6mths now with tremendous results.
It was easy to put in through the existing conduit to the doors and initial hesitations I had about flex fracturing (like some solid core does - Audio Quest) have proved unfounded.

The sound I get from the system can be described and 'natural' and 'full' with smooth but clean and detailed highs.
I did take the time to hardwire/silver solder the cable to the amp and speaker terminals as this makes quite a difference too.

I use a Nakamichi CD45z h/u with only the factory Clarion 6" splits but the sound is amazing considering I don't have aftermarket spks and sub (YET!...Boston Pro's spks and Pheonix ZX Ti amp are yet to come).

Very pleased and even more so considering the cheap price/metre.

Similar Products Used:
Audio Quest F14 - Thick sound, rubberised insulation is difficult to push/pull through and the cable fatigues and breaks if continually flexed.
