Review 1 of 8

Price Paid:  $0.00

Strengths:
Great for a convertible! I don't have to put the top up because alarm goes off if someone reaches their arm in. The chirps weren't annoying. I could arm or disarm through several walls or from impressive distances. Accidental disarming didn't occur because it would re-arm itself after a minute.

Weaknesses:
Difficult to find capable installation technicians. May take a few hours to install.

Summary:
Amazing! I love the fact it chirps when someone bumps in to the car- I lived in a densely populated college town so it happened a lot.
It never malfunctioned or caused me any problems. The negative reviews that I've read seem to have been problems caused by poor installation. It's not a simple alarm to install-sensors must be placed carefully and attention to detail is a must.

Review 4 of 8

Price Paid:  $0.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 ms8200 on 1995 Nissan King-cab 4X4

Strengths:
NONE

Weaknesses:
PLENTY, I would hate to have an emergency and try to start my truck. After discovering the problem I had the alarm removed. I would reccommend that anyone looking for a car alarm stay FAR AWAY from this system. What a piece of garbage.

Summary:
This alarm system is one piece of crap. Within the first two month's the ignition kill switch would not turn off after disengaging the alarm. Consequently On many occasions I was unable to start the vehicle until I tapped on the alarm unit and then MAYBE< it would allow me to start my truck.

Review 5 of 8

Price Paid:  $0.00 from Audio Plus

Year / Model Reviewed:
 MS8200

Strengths:
If you're buying this because it locks and unlocks doors, you're fine.

Weaknesses:
If you're buying this because you want an alarm and a system to keep the bad guys out, keep looking.

Summary:
The little lights work. The door locks work. It chirps and puts out noise when you push buttons. If you open the door with the alarm activated, the alarms sounds, and the car will not start. Not even if you push the override switch. The guys who installed it were not the most capable people ever met. Vehicle now has 2 dents in the body from demonstrations of how "sensitive" the alarm is. Dents are because the car had to be hit several times to get alarm to sound.
