I installed this amp in my friends Van to run a JL 15wo in a nice vented box. It sounds Awesome. He loves it. For a simple amp and sub add-on...it rocks the house. This amp is well built and runs great. A slow turn-on prevents speaker thudd and the 45 db bass knob along with gain control make it easy to tune. Has a 90hz crossover built in which worked great for the 15". The JL sub is rated at 500rms and I believe this amp is under rated at 200rms, sounds more like 400watts as I believe there is no current limiting. It is a 2 channel class AB amp not a D amp, so you have to use a meaty single voice coil sub or some dvc combo to achieve a 4 ohm load, but when you hook it right, it will surprise you. Overall, very satisfied with this amp, if you find one...Buy it. Very good value Amplifier.

I would put this amp in the same category as older Alpine, USA made Orion, PPI, Rockford Fosgate & Jl Audio. I think its better than your average Pioneer, Sony, Kenwood types as it is bulletproof and not cheaply made. It is WAY BETTER than Boss, Audiobahn, and Kicker stuff.
