Review 1 of 8

Price Paid:  $1700.00 from Aus

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 Xtant x1001

Summary:
I am currently using one of these to power my Xtant x1044 sub (i have a pair but just powering one and the other one serves as a radiator to level out) at 2 ohms in a ported box.

Strengths:
I reckon this sub is a solid amp and would be best to add the LFQ module for more solid and deep bass. This amp is also very flexible when it comes to tuning. Looks good too.

Weaknesses:
Nothing.

Review 2 of 8

Price Paid:  $400.00 from Ultimate Electronics

Year / Model Reviewed:
2000 Xtant 1001x

Summary:
Very solid amp. Passive attenuation of rear channels helps with front stage/rear fill. extremely clean with input gain AND output gain. connections done on board help add to the reliability of amp. regulated power supply requires attention to charging system, 100A fuse is no joke. One amp to run your whole system well.

Strengths:
cosmetics are amazing. fan cooled heat shroud keeps dust off circuit board. no potentiometers for gain and crossover adjustments increase signal integrity.

Weaknesses:
regulated power supply can run down your battery and alternator if you haven't upgraded them. GET A BIGGER ALT. P=VI so when your voltage drops to from 13.8v to 12v the 1001x will increase current draw to keep output power the same.

Similar Products Used:
HiFonics, Rockford Power, Alpine V12, Kicker SS amps.
