Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $275.00 from Stereo West in Omaha

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 Alpine MRD-500

Summary:
Incredible match for most any sub, especially the Alpine R series subs. I've owned these amps for about a year and they are incredible(once they've been dialed in appropriately).

Strengths:
Clean, efficent power in tremendous amounts.

Weaknesses:
These amps are best installed by an experienced user or a professional due to the complexity of installation and set-up.

Similar Products Used:
I only use Alpine and Infiniti so my reccomendations are simple.

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
I have owned these amps ( i have 2, each running to a seperate type R 12) and they slam, but only if you have them wired at 2 ohms. Another warning, if you are a begginer dont mess with these amps, they are extremely complicated and very hard to get to work right. Besides that these are excelent amps and they get the job done very well. I have 2 1241D's and they are perfect matches for these amps, but only have one going to each amp, dont run two of them off this amp! I hit 143.8db's with this setup in a trunk and they are definitly loud and clear. dont go for those weak M300's, be a man and buy the big stuff if your going to buy anything.

Strengths:
extremely clear, very accurate, and many adjustments.

Weaknesses:
Pain to adjust! but worth it.

Similar Products Used:
i only use alpine.
