from Crutchfield Strengths: Looks great
Good sound quality
Easy to use controls
Plug in wiring is nice if you need to remove the amp
Doesn''t fall short of claimed wattage
Did I mention it looks good? Weaknesses: Needs an external crossover for subs
Needs a line driver if using in a stock vehicle Summary: This is a really nice looking amp. Sound quality is very good as well, and power is right with it''s claims. Controls are easy to get to, and again, it is very nice looking.
The big problem I have with it is the lack of highlevel inputs and the lack of a crossover. I installed the amp in my sister''s Sunfire using the stock cd player. So I had to buy an external line driver / crossover to make it work.
Other than that there is nothing wrong with this amp. It pushes her single Infinity Perfect very well, and has lasted over a year now with no lose in performance or any strange quirks showing up. I also installed an identical setup in a nearly identical car (2002 Sunfire vs my sister''s 2001). Same results. Similar Products Used: Precision Power
Crossfire
Sony
Pioneer
Rockford
Autotek
Lansar
Lots of cheap brands I''ve installed
