Strengths:
Awesome power, gorgeous looks, and does not drain your battery if you are using a capacitor.

Weaknesses:
The only "bad" thing about this amp is that it is about two feet long. If you have the room in your vehicle, then this thing will not disappoint you one bit. It has the looks and the performance that you would expect from Audiobahn.

Summary:
I have this amp hooked up to an Audiobahn AW1208T and it just slams so hard!! I also have an Audiobahn capacitor, and the interior lights and headlights do not dim at all when this thing is cranked up really loud. My whole car rattles in the back when the trunk is down, but when the trunk is up, it doesn't rattle and still sounds awesome. This amp powers the sub beautifully and doesn't draw as much power as other people have said. As long as you have a descent capacitor, your headlights and interior lights will not dim. This amp really fires hard and the speaker will not distort, no matter how high I turn up the volume. It makes your vision blurry when it hits!!!

Summary:
my bro-in-law gave me this amp which was also given to him before that and i haven't installed it yet becuz it needs to be fixed. it blew a capacitor off the board which i've heard has happened to others but he had it in his hyundai sonota pushing two of the audiobahn excursion 12"'s and even though the subs were really underpowered this amp pushed them so hard they actually bowed out the back of his trunk and that's why he decided to get rid of them. but i've heard what it can do and i'm really impressed

lots of power, clear true watts that do there thing.

too damn big!!!!! I had to re arange every thing around this big amp...

Summary:
I have used alot of amps in my time of owning different cars. I bought this amp because my old amp blew out,so I hooked it up to my set up in my car (6)pioner 10"s and it hit so hard it blew out all but one speaker. I have never had a amp that hits so true to watts as this amp. I now have it in my 72 ss conv/chevelle with (4) 12" cerwinvega 1000 watt speaker. It hits so hard the back seat pulls out like someone is pushing it from be hind. Its a great amp.

Strengths:
Very, very clean sound. Won't clip under demanding loads. Doesn't over heat. Looks great!

Weaknesses:
At 30 pounds, it is very heavy for a amp but worth it! Keep it clean or it will scratch.

Summary:
So are you looking for an amp with looks and power? Well here it is. I have this amp in my 2000 Mazda 626 pushing 3 kicker 12" L-7s......and DAMN does it hit! My stereo was installed by a kicker dealer and they tried to get me to buy a kicker amp. I told them that I want the Audiobahn amp in there no matter what, they thought that the amp wouldn't handle the 1.3 ohm load. Well, after installing the amp they actually apologized for thier comments....they are very impressed by the amps performance. I used the amp the way it should be used (loud and hard) and it doen't get hot! For the money, even at a grand, you will not beat this amp, I promise. People have offered to buy the amp off of me and I have turned them all down. Wonderfull amp.

Strengths:
Neat and good value for money, I know it's better for you guys in the US, but considering that I got ripped off into payin the same price for a Rockford Fosgate Punch 700 :( and it sounded like a fart.

Weaknesses:
You'll lose all your friends. Half of them wont like the new hairdo they get when they sit in your car, and the rest of em will be plain green with envy. On a realistic note, the amp's too bloody long! I was contemplating buying a D-class Audiobahn amp, but besides all reasons monetary, I had heard that they wouldn't be as clean as the high-current ones. Also, that I would never be able to hook up full-range speakers with the D-class ones...but who the f wants to???

Summary:
Hmmm, I'm sure I'm the first guy in India to own an amp like this...and BOY, AM I PROUD!!! They're hooked up to 2 Audiobahn AW1500Qs in a sealed enclosure in my SUV and all the voice coils are wired in parallel to the bridged output of the amp. I was advised by a lot of people against buying this amp cos they had never heard about Audiobahn...their loss, I guess. I couldn't let their ignorance stand in the way of my sonic bliss. I was expecting a serious amount of bass from the amp-subs combination. The amp has surpassed my expectations by a long way. This thing is serious power, and they're not kidding when they say 1600W rms. This baby bangs very very hard. I had also made provisions for fans if they would be necessary (I had read that the high-current amps generate a tremendous amount of heat when operating at high outputs) but the fans are still in my garage. They do get hot when driven hard, but I've never encountered a thermal shutdown and the regular ventilation seems adequate for now. I guess I'll wait till summer before commenting further. The sound is very clean, hits the lows with no hiccups at all and there is no audible distortion even when I pump it up really good. It's lightning fast with transients and I have no problems like bass-lag etc although I dont have no processors. The subs are so in control, it's almost as if the amp's got the subs by their balls..lol.
