Review 2 of 5

Price Paid:  $330.00 from friend

Year / Model Reviewed:
2001 Audiobahn 1500HCX

Strengths:
it looked great!(chrome) the blue light at night is sharp looking. the dual fan

Weaknesses:
2000watts at 1ohms! Hummmmmmmmm...... I don't know about that! only 120amp fuse and it's a high current amp? I don't think 2000watts is possible!(maybe peak power) the orion hcca 275g4 has a 180amp fuse and it's only rated at 1200watts(we all know that it's way louder)

Summary:
To tell you the truth! I didn't like this amp much! I had it pushing the eclipse 8810ti dvc(750rms), two orion hcca 10's and I wasn't impress at all. I read the reviews and i thought man i'm going to be deaf! but not!

Similar Products Used:
I am currently using the Mtx 8100d and it blows it away! No lie! the orion hcca 225r blows it away also!(way smaller amp) there one amp it did sound better than and it was a ppi that had a blinking light which means that it has to be service!

Review 5 of 5

Price Paid:  $650.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1989 FORD TAURUS SHO

Strengths:
Looks absolutely stunning, and then you turn it on! Eq's and level controls everywhere, EBC (electronic bass control) comes in REALLY handy, 2 fans keep this amp cool, blasting in a hot trunk in summer, LOUD LOUD LOUD

Weaknesses:
Mounting the amp was the only problem I had with this amp. Flawless, just flawless

Summary:
This amp rules. period. you want bass, you got bass. this beast is pushing three MTX T8000 10' subs @ 1.3ohm and it will take more than you could ever give to it. SO MUCH POWER! this amp, with exception of a few, is one of the finest, highest quality, loudest produced beautiful piece of electronics ever built. if your serious about bass, dont throw away money in weak little 400, 600 watt amps, go with the pro's

Similar Products Used:
MTX T800010, MTXT610X3, BOSS ReV-585, Pioneer 3way 6x8's & 4way 6x9's
