Price Paid:  $500.00 from NPS

Year / Model Reviewed:
2002 Stealth XS 1500.1

Strengths:
Power -Looks -Temp cool - Great Warranty dept - Thoughfull design.

Summary:
It pounds - dosent get to hot, as far as the other reviews marking it down for scratching easy? Must be used to eating off paper plates instead of china, get real boys would you rather have a RF amp that looks like a waffle iron? These folks at Autotek have only this as a problem - A powerful, nice looking, cool, thoughtfully designed product with a marketing department that never did the product line justice & ALL should have been fired a long time ago.

Review 2 of 11

Price Paid:  $350.00 from friend

Year / Model Reviewed:
2000 1500.1

Strengths:
even loaded down to 1ohm the output is still clear and tight. it doesnt go into protection mode even when it's getting pounded. there is no distortion or feedback or humming from the amp.

Weaknesses:
The face is easily scrached but if your careful theres no problem.

Summary:
This amp produces tremendous power. I have it loaded down to 1 ohm with four 4ohm JL w3 12"'s in paralell, i have the gain cranked and i blew two of the jl's in under 2 months, personaly i think the jl's are crap but i got them really cheap from a friend. i prefer kicker'(vr's or L7's) im running vr's in another car. the amp however performs flawlessly,it gets fairly warm but that's understandable. with that kind of impedence things get touchy. im running 0aug welding cable to it, using a 180amp alternator, optima battery and a 130amp breaker. the amp never fades or shuts down and i run it very hard, im hitting a shade under 150db and its all because of that autotek. i took it apart once to see what it looked like inside. beautiful! nice board, thick quality traces. burley components nice pots and caps. it just looks like one hell of an amp. there was a small amount of electrolisis build up around the power imput but thats common with all electronics and with how hard i run this amp i was superised there wasn't more

Review 5 of 11

Price Paid:  $350.00 from ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
 Autotek xs-1500.1

Strengths:
Good Power, good for custom installs, like base knob. I have to admit i had a lot of trouble with this amp but autoteks customers service is outstanding and they fixed my amp all 4 times with out warranty for free. The only ball buster is sending from michigan to cali paying 25-35 for shipping each time.

Weaknesses:
Well, I have to say the amp is powerful but i cannot count on mine! It has broke 4 times now in less then 3 months. For different reasons i blew out the crossovers. Something happened so it was aways in protection mode. I blew out something else internally 2 times also. Well made a just had the rotten apple in the basket i guess it is worth trying.

Summary:
This amp is a very powerful amp and is very sleik looking. I think its cool because it flushes so easily.
