Price Paid:
$175.00
from ebay Year / Model Reviewed: 2002 P500D Strengths: Power, sound quality, remote bass control so you can control the power from the front seat. Weaknesses: The $$$$$ if you paid full price cause you got screwed. I don't think it is worth the retail price of $500 but if you can get it for around $300 it is well worth it Summary: This is an all around great amp. The power coming out is great, the sound quality is amazing and with it being a dual mono amp it is very user friendly. The power rating is 500 x 1 @ 4 ohms, 750 x 1 @ 2 ohms, and 1100 x 1 @ 1 ohm. I have this amp hooked up to 2 12" dual voice coil phoenix gold tantrum series. In a competition I hit 137 db with everything up full. When im just going around on the street I have the bass on my deck at -2, the gain at half, the bass boost at half, and the remote bass control at half and it still pounds hard enough to hurt my ears. Similar Products Used: boss chaos rev 2000d - almost same but doesn't have the sound quality
Kenwood kac929 1000watt - doesn't even come close
