Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $80.00 from EZ Pawn

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2000

Strengths:
carries 2ohm load when bridged very well. Powered through my blau 12's like nothin

Weaknesses:
if anything, the fact that it made me feel stupid about wasting $210 on my old kenwood

Summary:
I bought this amp because i was running two 800W Blaupunkt 12" subs off of one 600W max Kenwood amp. I was running it bridged and couldn't even hook up the other 12, because the one 12 at 600w was way louder than the two at 200. I of course bought the boss, and hooked it up to the other sub. I was immediately impressed at the bridged power. It, like the kenwood had sucky unbridged power, but bridged, it rocked, way louder than the kenwood. After about another month went by, my kenwood amp went out. I went mudding and some mud and water was thrown in my truck, and ruined the amp, i was really bummed. I figured i'd have to use just one sub again for a while. I jokingly hooked the other sub parallel to my origional. (i figured that the amp wouldn't fair too well from the 2ohm load that the double 4 ohm subs would put on it). Boy was i surprised when the amp pushed them both as hard as it pushed the lone sub, making it louder than when i had two amps! No joke, this amp kicks butt. I never spent $80 so wisely!

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $0.00

Strengths:
2 ohm stable(stereo), bass boost, clarity, nice looking, powerful, good heat dissipation, wattage is rated at 12 volts rather than 14.5 (meaning the RMS ratings are accurate)

Weaknesses:
Has a higher power draw than an amp this size should.

Summary:
Excellent series of amps. Distortion free and very precisely tunable lowpass from 45hz-90hz. This amp (My 2001 model)has its real RMS wattages listed in the manual and it cranks about 240RMS bridged. If you want to power multiple subs then buy one of the higher models with more watts

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $90.00 from millionbuy.com

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2002

Strengths:
features for this price

Weaknesses:
poor sound quality, watts overrated

Summary:
I bought this amp. thinking that I can''t go wrong for that price($90) but I was wrong. I drove 2 Blaupunkt pw100 10" but just can''t seem to get the deep bass sound or the SPL.
