Review 4 of 4 Strengths: Total flexability on picking crossover points, bridging to two channel mode, input sensitivity, and it's low profile fits well under seats. Weaknesses: Can't say anything bad about it! Summary: At a retail of about $279 - $299, it can't be beat in flexability or sound quality. Alpine V-12 is a close bet, and would probably compare very favorably, but at a higher price point. I chose this based on sound quality & flexability, as well as $VALUE...and it delivers in all catagories! The Kenwood KAC748 is also a very good value, but not as much "guts" (less power).
If you're looking to improve your factory stereo, remember to ALWAYS start out with a good 4-channel amp! Your speakers will love you for it! The most common mistake is to start off by replacing speakers, which should be step #2. If you replace your speakers first, then you still have "not enough power" to power the new speakers, and doing this first sometimes sounds MUCH WORSE!...than your factory speakers! Similar Products Used: I've used older 4 channel amps that just can't compare
