Shuts off at high volume :( plus it doesn't come close to pushing my audiobahn AW1208Q's but most amps don't anyway

Summary:
In regards to that comment about using this amp in a multi-amp system...I'm running 2 other amps for mids and highs and I get no hiss. Go figure.

Summary:
I have been using this amp to power 2 12" audiobahn subs. I have also used this ame amp to power a digital aucustic 15" sub. It has great power and has pushed like no other amps.

THUMPS AND VERY CLEAR - 0% road noise / 0% distortion

Weaknesses:
when I cranked it up to near MAX it got quiet - thats what I get for all windows down on the freeway :P

EXCELLENT AMP!! - IM GONNA GRAB ANNOTHER AND THE PRICE I GOT IT AT IS AMAZING - warranty and quick shipping in original box. only I didnt get a little gain wired control box :( - o well im still happy. -- Clarion DPX1000.2 !! --

24db/octave crossover, subsonic filter, cool running

Weaknesses:
tends to go into protect with high voltages (over 4 volts)

Summary:
This amp is amazing. I am using it to power three Rockford Fosgate 12" HE2 subs at 2.66 ohms.I upgraded from a Fosgate punch 500.2 and there is no comparison. I get nothing but loud clean bass. I have the gain control turned ALL the way down too! And I have no hiss in my other amps using this product as was stated in another review.

Great power, great sound quality, steep crossover slope, digital design, Crutchfield took it back for a full refund :)

Weaknesses:
Creates unacceptable NOISE in other amps in multi-amp systems. Clarion, what the hell were you thinking?

Summary:
I bet none of the other reviewers of this amp used it in a multi-amp setup ... because this amp has an INHERENT NOISE PROBLEM, as stated by the Crutchfield tech I spoke to. The amp itself is great (nice power, good sound quality, 24 dB x-over, etc) but make sure it's the only amp you're gonna build into your sound system, otherwise your other amp(s) will pick up a nasty HISS!!
