Price Paid:
$260.00 Year / Model Reviewed: 2001/480QE Strengths: Excellent sound from an "econo" priced amp, because your not paying for the name. Loud and clear sound. Build quality seems above average. Good manual, easy to use, everything is clearly marked. Weaknesses: Large, but I figure that's to be expected with the power this thing puts out and I don't like the yellow. Summary: Could have gotten this amp online for $200, but they wouldn't ship to an alternate address, so I spent more at my local shop, still, I'm really happy with this amp. It has all of the usual features for a 4-channel amplifier and is very easy to use and set up. It is big and makes it tight underneath the passenger seat of my Tacoma truck, but that is my only gripe with this product. It sounds awesome, I have it running 2 Infinity Kappa, 3-way coax's in the doors and bridged the rear channel to an Infinity Kappa 10" sub behind the bench seat. My truck gets so loud with no distortion. It doesn't seem to get too hot, even with the limited air flow under the seat. Similar Products Used: Compared to a few of my friends systems that use Alpine V12'S, Autotek's, and RF Punch amps, it holds it's own.
