from Stereo One Year / Model Reviewed: 2004 EA3422 Strengths: Not a whole lot of money.
Great sound quality.
Does not get hot.
Small size and can fit in many places.
Far amount of power. Weaknesses: Need nice cables to get the best sound quality out of this amp. Even though all amps r like that. Remember if you r a new buyer. Make sure you have good cables. Summary: I have this amp running from an Eclipse 2001 5441i. OMG is all i can say. If you can good speakers and an a deck that haspreouts this is your amp. It puts out and it does not get hot. I am the type that likes bass so i have this pumping the bass cause i don't have a subwoofer. And this amp gave me alot more than i would have expected. But when installing any amp MAKE SURE you don't buy cheap cabling. Buy something nice like high end monster cable or stinger audio cables(dream or expertseries). And make sure that you have aleast a 4 guage wire going to this amp so it can do what Eclipse does best. Sound great. In terms of money for cables go about 60% for amp and 40% for cabling and you should the best sound quality out of the amp. Ok. If you r in the market for some kind of amp that gives you great sound quality go with the EA3422 or if you r lookin to go a little higher end go with the Eclipse PA5422. People say that Eclipse is over priced. Well you will believe till you hear something made by them. Trust me Eclipse is not over priced. This amp is the amp for you.
