Strengths:
sounds great. I hit a 165db with 4 fifteens and 4 dx amplifiers.

Weaknesses:
The caps in the amps are weak

Summary:
I bought 4 dx 1500.1 amplifiers 2 years ago and they have sounded better than any other amplifier i have ever had. Recently one of them went out with smoke pouring out and some kind of liquid leeking out. So be careful how you use those amps dont abuse them or they might do the same to you.

Summary:
This amp is a powerful 4 channel amplifier with clean and crisp sound with no distortion at high volumes. You can play it for long periods of time at full volume and won't heat up. The Eq is very easy to work with and can tune the channels the right way.

Summary:
From day one for my install in my 2000 Audi A4 I was very impressed with the sound quality of the Elevation DX 80.4. The crossover section and gain setting are extremly clean and accurate. This is really a no nonsenese product.
