Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $400.00 from Civic Audio

Year / Model Reviewed:
 Hifonics XI Hercules

Strengths:
Tons of power!

Weaknesses:
It was hard for me to find the proper bass knob to replace the one I lost, but I did!

Summary:
I bought this amp going on 5 years ago. The only problem that I've had is that I've gone through several lower level speakers that couldn't handle the power this thing puts out. I finally had to buy a pair of Orion HP10D4s so that I wouldn't blow-em. They work very well with this set-up.

I had some crazy looking Lanzar amp, that was pretty good too. I've got a 300 watt JBL laying around somewhere too.

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $340.00 from eBay

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001

Strengths:
small size efficiency output, kilowatts

Weaknesses:
none so far.

Summary:
Very powerful amp for its size. Puts out 1,500 watts at 1 ohm, 1,000 at 2 ohm, 500 at 4 ohm. Stats seem to be real. I have it running at 1.33 ohms on 3 10" Infinity Perfects and it sounds great with no shutdown. Its almost 90% efficient! No headlight dimming.
