Price Paid:  $250.00 from strathfeild radios m

Year / Model Reviewed:
2004 GTO 2000

Summary:
This amp is only good as a sub amp and for those on a buget. As a main amp preformance is poor, it has a continuous hiss noise at is 63db loud, this is with my head unit volume set to 0.(Alpine CDA-9805).But used as a sub amp this noise is not detectable. It does sound good as a budget sub amp with clean sound but not great.A product which does not deserve the name JBL, this product has tarnished its name.

Strengths:
Good looks, good power as a budget sub amp. Stickers.

Weaknesses:
Made in china.Continuous hiss at63db(i tried several of these amps and all hissed the highest reading was 68db)

Similar Products Used:
old alpine amps;pioneer, phoenix gold.
