Review 1 of 4

Price Paid:  $79.00 from Etronics.com

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2000/P-80.2

Strengths:
The sound quality

Weaknesses:
None

Summary:
I have always respect the sound quality of JPL speakers. I have heard good things about jbl car audio. When my R/F series-1 amp when dead for the second time. I decided to replace it, rather than repair it for $60.00. I love this little amp for its punch; driving a double home made hi-end 8 in speakers, Separate mid & high. It played loud enough for personal entertainment. However, the jbl has more volume. It should at 2 ½ the rated power; in reality a little than twice. These jbl amps deserve all the high praises. Plus is has a cool look.

Price Paid:  $60.00 from Futureshop

Year / Model Reviewed:
 JBL 80.2

Strengths:
Size, sound and price...great value

Weaknesses:
None

Summary:
I bought this amp for only $60cdn thinking it would power my one 10" kicker sub. Well it did that and more. I as well decided to buy a new sub (pioneer 10'') and box and it actually made my nose hairs shake. This is a great starter amp and I highly reccomend it .

Strengths:

Summary:
Amazing. got this amp about 2 months ago. it''s easy to set up and powerful aswell for it''s size. i use it to drive a set of jvc 6x9''s, it sounds so good. Just for a laugh I also bridged it into 160 watt rms on low pass and hooked a mates 1000 watt rockford DVC sub up to it expecting it to sound crap, but this thing made my car shake! a very sweet amp for not a lot of money.

Review 4 of 4

Price Paid:  $125.00

Strengths:
Easy to install, small, adjustable frequency and gain, 2 ohm stable, clean, efficient, and powerful for such a small amp.

Weaknesses:
No bass boost but it is still a great amp.

Summary:
One word: IMPRESSIVE! I bought two of these since I got such a great deal on them with the intentions of just keeping one of them. Wow, was I amazed at the clean power these little amps generate. I highly recommend these for running your highs or a small sub. The amp pushes 160w RMS brideged at 4 ohms. Good luck!
