from Ebay Year / Model Reviewed: 1999 Jeep/Wrangler Strengths: Sounds Awesome for the price. Looks cool (in my opinion). It never cut out once and i pushed that thing to the max everywhere and all the time. Weaknesses: not as powerful as it is rated. I did have to fix a short in it, but to be honest I bounced that thing all over when i was doing installs and improvements on my jeep. Summary: The product says that it operates at 900 watts rms at 2 ohms. That isn't true. It really did about 600 watts or so. But to be honest for the price it was an excellent amplifier. I really enjoyed it. I bought it for my starter system in my jeep wrangler. I started pushing two mtx 4500 (225 watts rms a piece). It sounded great. Loud and clean which was great when driving in a loud jeep where you can't hear the music, let alone the bass. It said it was 1 ohm stable but didn't offer any output number. I hooked up 4 subs at 1oh which should have taken advantage of all 900 watts rms, but the output was about the same as the two subs so i was slightly disapppointed. Again, for how cheap it was, it sounded awesome and I would buy it again for a budget amplifier. I'm considering buying one and putting it in my wife's car so she can enjoy some bass but not blow the babies ears out.
I don't use it now because it got rained on in my jeep. (i forgot to put my top on before a storm, I konw i'm an idiot.) Similar Products Used: profile 1200 watt 2 channel amp, kicker 700.5 and kicker 2500.1.
