Strengths: BIG AND POWERFUL! Clean, crisp testicle rattling bass! I cant wait untill I get my new subs and capacitor to see what this thing can really do! From the outside of my car it sounds like its going to explode! and I only have the amp turned halfway up. Great product.
Weaknesses: Draws ALOT of power!..I just have a crappy little 1/2 Farad cap(peice of s***) and this amp will completely drain it with one hit. Because of the 1/4 inch cast iron frame it gets really hot..I dont know but everyone else sais theirs stays cool all day...maby mine is just weird.. me and all of my freinds call it the "Bar-B-Q Grill" because it looks like on and gets about as hot as one..still runs great though. The module this thing runs off is a pain in the A** to find, I got mine from imeverlast@yahoo.com, he wont rip you off. The power and ground terminals arent big enough for anything above 4AWG.
Summary: I got this amp from my friend for $200 cash and my old crappy Infinity Reference amp. He had two of these in his van pushing 4 18's..it was the loudest vehicle in my town for about 5 years.This amp is amazing! It is defenitely worth every penny I paid for it. Looks like a beast and performs like one. I just wish I could find another one.

Summary: Just had this amplifier refurb'ed by stillwater designs. These guys re-forged from the fires of KICKER, a ZR1000 that puts a severe hurt on other amps in its class, period. There is no match for this beast. This amplifier will chew up volts, and spit volcanic bass eruptions from within. Make sure your subs are up to the challenge! This amplifier weighs over 20 pounds, and is quite large in size. Compared with other amps within the same power class, this amp was BUILT TOUGH. Kicker IS widely recognized as a leader in autosound sports. This amplifier was designed to eliminate all competition in its time. Retailing at 1499.99, this thing is always worth the price paid today. Currently concidering purchasing a mate for her. Together they could sing sweet melodies to my 18's. Prepare your vehicle for MUCHO-GRANDE power. This amplifier was designed for a 2-OHM load but is 1-OHM stable rated @ 350 watts x2. This monster is rated by manufacturer at 500 watts x2 @ 2OHM. Please beleive me, this amp IS UNDER-RATED! I could see this more like 650x2 @ 2OHM. This thing had several "Modules" made for simple tuning. Power this amp down, swap modules, and just like that you've adjusted the internal crossover network. After personally using over 20 brands of amplifiers, this company deserves mad-props. This BEAST was engineered by road-pathing industrial components and methods. An engineering feat that blows away most other comparable brand names. With larger fins and increased cooling-fin surface area, this thing can maintain heart stopping bass notes, while getting no hotter than the glass on your microwave door. Built with a seemingly passionate pursuasion, this amplifier out performs all other 500 x2 amps. Teaming up with one of these, will reign chaotic disaster upon your autosound foes. -tyler79durdan

Strengths: puts out more than 1,000 watts, durable, LOUD, simple, looks clean, no bells and whistes you dont need, runs cool too; my amps never get hot.
Weaknesses: sucks power, need strong charging system, battery terminals are close together, rather large to todays standards, 1,000 watt amps these days are a lot smaller.
Summary: I have 6 zr 1,000 amps in my truck along with 2 zr 240's they all run off of 5 optima red tops (need a lot of CCA for these amps) they will kill those batteries real fast. so in other words these things are beasts, they suck power like no other, and they out out power like no other. i suggest O guage or bigger, 2 guage just wont cut it. the 6 zr 1000's feed into 6 15 inch kicker L7's and will hit 159.9 all day long, hits 162.3 at 14 volts. the whole line of zr amps are extremely clear and LOUD! i have run my truck many many times in spl comps and never blown an amp, these things are durable too!

Strengths: The amp will make any subs rock. Hell hook up more than 4 and it will still beat the hell out of most subs.
Weaknesses: Requires too much power, I have and optima deep cycle under the hood a stinger 250amp isolater and an optima deep cycle in the back with 3 fard cap, all on 0g wire and it still dimmed the lights! I have had hooked up 3 audiobahn 2000 watt amps and it didn't dim the lights, thats over 3000 more watts!
The amp is very expensive but well worth the money if you charging system can handle it
Summary: Bought the amp from ebay for 300$$ a steal. This amp is a freaking monster, had it bench tested and it was pushing 1283watts with 14 volts!!! amazing amp, but a power hunger beast.

Strengths: This amp is bullet proof if you hook it up right,it does what you ask it.
Weaknesses: Power hungry,watch your alt. and your battery.
Summary: This amp has very few equals in it's class,this is a true brute.Give it over 14.4 volts and you will kiss the 1200 watt clean power level!I use this on two S12D's and am over the 150 DB mark.
