from Wholesale Distributo Year / Model Reviewed: 1999 Lanzar Vibe 430 Strengths: Rated power is close to accurate.
Very reliable (no shutdown problems).
Clean power and quite a bit of it.
Can't beat the price! Weaknesses: Connections are more difficult than most amps.
Crossovers only marginal.
Big (but any 100x4 amp will be) Summary: Let me start by saying I have been in the car stereo industry for over 10 years, so I have a lot of experience. I bought this amp for my wife to use as a 3 channel amp. The front two channels pushed Infinity Kappa 5.25" components while the back pushed a single Kicker Solobaric 15c (round, 8 ohm). The amp was very reliable and had pretty clean SQ. The 15, being 8 ohm was only getting about 200 watts, but it hit pretty well. The front stage was loud and clean. Not transparant like some great amps, but clean with little noticable distortion. I haven't seen a better amp at this price. I sold it to a friend when we changed my wifes setup and he had it pushing two Cerwin-Vega Vega 15's in a large ported box (in a CRX). It did well with that setup also. Very loud and low, actually made you feel sick. Similar Products Used: Rockford Fosgate, Infinity Kappa Digital, Kenwood PS series, JBL, MTX, Profile, Audiobahn, MA Audio, and more...
