Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $250.00 from Advance Audio

Year / Model Reviewed:
2006 Memphis PRD-1000.1

Strengths:
Good power, don't need upgrades to run this amp

Weaknesses:
not as efficient as the M-class amps

Summary:
I have two of these, and I switch them out every now and then but they work harder than my old Rockford-Fosgate amps and I have never had a problem with them.

Similar Products Used:
I have a Memphis MCD4KW and it is the biggest baddest amp ever. I Love this amp!

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $400.00 from Horizon Audio

Year / Model Reviewed:
2006 memphis prd1000

Strengths:
strong bass
subsonic crossover
0-18 db
built in cooling fan
100 plus watts underrated
1year warrenty--2year if installed my memphis
well worth the money
memphis amps are good for entry to mid compatitions

Weaknesses:
can run hot other than that nothing at all awesome amp

Summary:
I am running this amp at 2ohms-600watts rms(underrated). This amps max it 1000watts rms at 1ohm. I have not heard it at 1ohm but im sure its sick. I am Pushing 2 fockford fosgate punch hx2 15"s and it hits hard. I asked the installer the main difference between the pr class and the m class and he said the m class just has a better crossover. This amp has decent SQ but it is by far for SPL. Memphis is a well respected company. So if your looking for a bass strong amp its worth tha money
