Review 2 of 15

Price Paid:  $325.00 from On-Line

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 1501D

Strengths:
Rock solid amp.

Weaknesses:
None.

Summary:
I drove several different speakers with this amp. Starting with two 15" MTX8000. It was sick loud. Then went to one Pioneer Premier TS-W5000SPL. Anyone familiar with that knows that the 5000SPL sub weighs close to 80 lbs for one sub. Well the 1501D fried the voice coils on that sub! Then i went to two Boston Acoustics G512-44 subs running the amp at 4 ohms. What a great combination. Meant to be. Like PB&J! Unbelievable sound quality from two twelves.

Review 5 of 15

Price Paid:  $300.00 from Friend

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 Mtx Thunder 1501D

Strengths:
POWER!!!

Weaknesses:
Everybody bothering you to sell it to them and thieves.

Summary:
If you like to be breath taken then this would be an amp for you. I have this amp running 2 12" 1500watt rms Orion Subs and DAMN is the only word to describe it. It pushes way more than the 1500 watts it says. Its a beast.
